Smarter CurcuminTM is a very different kind of curcumin product, a colorless metabolite known as "tetrahydro-curcuminoid" (no other curcuminoids).

Smarter Curcumin's advertising includes unproven claims. There are also conflicts in its advertising where it confuses TURMERIC with CURCUMIN in claims for better "potency." But CURCUMIN and TURMERIC are totally different. (Curcumin is the active ingredient, turmeric is the root.) So, there's a huge difference in potency between turmeric extract and curcumin. THE DIFFERENCE IS A WHOPPING 475x...
...but Smarter CurcuminTM claims to be only 250x more POTENT than turmeric...
If the above ads were true, the following is grossly overstated...
But this ad is not true on it's face: Most curcumin products are ALSO 95% POTENT. In fact, it's not possible to be more than 100% POTENT.
POTENCY is a measure of HOW MUCH (%) curcumin you are buying whereas BIOAVAILABILITY is how effective the product is based on clinical trials where ABSORPTION was measured by taking blood samples.
Mixing curcumin with oil does NOT improve absorption—that's a myth.
