Shopping for curcumin and turmeric can be very confusing. Here's what to look for (both are equally important):
Most advertising claims are NOT reliable and most curcumin products are NOT tested for absorption. For example...
In fact, clinical trials show that consuming oil with curcumin or turmeric does NOT improve absorption into your blood or organs. Human testing shows taking 500mg of turmeric results in less than 1mg of curcumin in the blood. (23)

Potency (%) is how MUCH curcumin you're getting. The higher number means more curcumin (the active ingredient in turmeric). There's a HUGE difference between turmeric extract (2%) and standardized 95% curcumin.
Potency (%) of curcumin is not required by FDA or GMP rules in the Supplement Facts label.
When curcumin products fail to disclose potency (%), consumers are left guessing about how MUCH curcumin is truly in each capsule/softgel.
The following chart compares reputable and patented brands of curcumin. Since many products fail to include the potency (%) of their curcumin in their Supplement Facts labels, we searched the manufacturers' websites and noted this below.

Some formulators add piperine (Piper nigrum) to enhance absorption of curcumin in their products. But the additive is a problem for many consumers because piperine should be taken cautiously (if at all) by anyone taking medications. (4,5)

Thank God I found your Biomor Curcumin! My nutritionist recommended I take 5,000 mg curcumin per day, so I tried several brands of curcumin. Of one brand with piperine, I took 8 per day of 580 mg per capsule (4,440 mg per day). Of another brand, also with piperine, I took 6 per day of 875 mg per capsule (5,250 mg per day). Both of the curcumin products with piperine caused me to feel extremely exhausted, to the point where I couldn't do anything but rest. It seems the piperine reacted with my medications.
